DCH Credit Union Will Soon Be Changing Our Name to Red Oak Credit Union.

Only Our Name is Changing

First and foremost, know that we are changing our name, logo and branding only. Everything else will remain the same. The location on Veterans Memorial Parkway, products and services offered, team members and management that you’ve come to know and trust, as well as our Board of Directors, will all remain the same. DCH Credit Union will just have a new name and new look.

What You Need to Know

Please know the Board of Directors and management are working to make this transition very smooth for the DCH Credit Union membership. In fact, you do not need to do anything any differently.

Please continue using your current DCH Credit Union debit card, credit card, checks and deposit slips. Before your current debit or credit card expires, you will receive a new one with the new name and logo. The same applies for checks and deposit slips. Simply reorder when you need them, but until then, continue to use the ones you have. The website address will change to, but you will be able to access it through the current DCH Credit Union website address.

Why the Name Change

Some may be asking why the name change? DCH Credit Union began in 1955 in order to serve the employees and families of Druid City Hospital. But over the years, we’ve grown to include everyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Pickens and Sumter counties. The Board of Directors spent several years assessing and evaluating the value of a name change, and ultimately decided that a name change was in order. The Board of Directors felt a new name and brand would better reflect the growing membership, and the additional financial products and services offered.

If you have any questions about the name change, please feel free to email DCH Credit Union CEO and Manager Angelic Pritchett.
